KNOTTED TIES currently offers free delivery on all orders over R1000, within South Africa.

We use The Courier Guy who conveniently deliver door-to-door within major cities and towns and strive to have deliveries in your hands as soon as possible, but please allow for up to 5 business days after your order has been placed.

PACKAGING

We have done extensive research and have thought carefully about each and every packaging item. Is it necessary? Will our customers be able to reuse the item or easily recycle it?

Recyclable packaging is the best option, as it can be broken down and reused over and over again.

The next best option is packaging that is biodegradable in home composting.

We at Knotted Ties have taken it a step further and decided to keep our packaging absolutely minimal to ensure that if any packaging does end up in a landfill, its in the smallest quantity possible, we therefore do not use cardboard boxes in our packaging.

We encourage our customers to reuse or recycle.

All paper items used in our packaging can be recycled.

Here are some tips on how to reuse our packaging:

Kraft paper can be home composted. Tear into small pieces and add
to your compost, it should decompose in about 30 days.

Cotton String can be reused in gift wrapping, stringing up plants or however you see fit.

Unfortunately our courier companies shipping bags are plastic and these should be recycled responsibly.
