Knotted Ties has completely removed plastic from their packaging.

We have done extensive research and have thought carefully about each and every packaging item. Is it necessary? Will our customers be able to reuse the item or easily recycle it?

Recyclable packaging is the best option, as it can be broken down and reused over and over again.

The next best option is packaging that is biodegradable in home composting.

We at Knotted Ties have taken it a step further and decided to keep our packaging absolutely minimal to ensure that if any packaging does end up in a landfill, its in the smallest quantity possible.

We encourage our customers to reuse or recycle.

All paper items used in our packaging can be recycled.

Here are some tips on how to reuse our packaging:

Kraft paper can be home composted. Tear into small pieces and add
to your compost, it should decompose in about 30 days.

Cotton String can be reused in gift wrapping, stringing up plants or however you see fit.

Our drawstring bags used to package smaller items can be reused to replace supermarket single use produce plastic, snack or sandwich bags, store makeup, jewelry or other accessories.

Unfortunately our courier companies shipping bags are plastic and these should be recycled responsibly.
